Week 8 Wednesday Injury Report: Brian Burns, Christian Miller and Dennis Daley sit out

CHARLOTTE - Cornerback Donte Jackson (groin) and Trai Turner (ankle) returned to full participation in practice on Wednesday on the first injury report of Week 8. But a trio of rookies did not participate.

Edge rushers Brian Burns (wrist) and Christian Miller (ankle) as well as offensive tackle Dennis Daley (groin) were held out.

Burns underwent a procedure on his wrist during the bye week and head coach Ron Rivera said they'll monitor his situation over the next couple days. Daley, who was on the injury report with a groin injury ahead of the Week 6 matchup against Tampa Bay, was held out as a precaution, according to Rivera.

Rookie offensive tackle Greg Little also did not participate, as he remains in the concussion protocol.
