Luke Kuechly Pro Bowl

CHARLOTTE – Former Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly has been named a Legends Captain for the 2022 Pro Bowl in Las Vegas.

As one of four Legends Captains (Rod Woodson, Reggie Wayne, Jason Witten), Kuechly will be assigned to the NFC defense, where he'll serve as a mentor and be on the sidelines during the game. The Legends Captains will also attend various events throughout Pro Bowl week, including the Skills Showdown.

Defensive end Brian Burns will represent the Panthers in his first Pro Bowl and be reunited with Kuechly after the two played together in 2019.

Kuechly, who retired in 2020, holds the franchise record with seven Pro Bowl selections and five first-team All-Pro seasons. He was named to the NFL's All-Decade Team of the 2010s and had the most tackles (1,092) of any NFL player between 2012-19.

2022 Pro Bowl presented by Verizon, kicks off at 3:00 PM ET on Sunday, February 6, and will be televised on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and simulcast on ABC. Tickets are available now on ProBowl.com.
