Panthers trade in the second round with Rams, picking up spots this year and next year

First-rounder Xavier Legette will wear his old number 17 from his South Carolina days, and the rest of the draft class has been assigned numbers for this weekend's rookie minicamp.

The offseason is in full swing in Charlotte, as the Carolina Panthers announce their dates for the next set of offseason minicamps, practices and more. 

Each of the Panthers seven draft picks shared a lot about themselves over the weekend. Get to know them all a little better, with one interesting fact from each. 

The 2024 NFL draft has come and gone, and with it, almost all the surrounding commentary. There are a few more things to go over though, like full draft grades. 

After a hectic first two days, the Panthers settled in Saturday with four more picks, and now have a more complete picture of the roster.

Providing some depth at outside linebacker, the Panthers added Michael Barrett to their roster on Saturday.

With the 200th pick in the NFL draft, the Panthers added defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy. 

Looking to expand their corner room, the Panthers selected corner Chau Smith-Wade in the fifth-round of the NFL draft.

The NFL may be devaluing the running back position. But as the Panthers took the first one off the board this year, the club made their own statement on how important Jonathon Brooks will be in Carolina.
