Week 12 Wednesday Injury Report: Short list to start week

InjuryReport-week12_wed

CHARLOTTE — The Panthers have an injury report short enough to be thankful for this week.

They only listed three names on the report submitted to the league Wednesday.

Left tackle Dennis Daley was a full participant, with a glute injury.

Daley has had to leave each of the last two games, with rookie Brady Christensen replacing him in the lineup both times. The fact he's able to practice on Wednesday is a good sign for him.

The Panthers haven't had much in the way of stability on the offensive line anyway, as last week marked the eighth different collection of starting linemen in 11 games this year.

Guard John Miller, who returned to the starting lineup last week, was limited with an ankle injury.

Defensive back Myles Hartsfield was the only other player on the report Wednesday.

He did not participate (wrist). Hartsfield returned from an injury in the opener and has played in the last three games, starting in their nickel package.

While he's not on the report since he's still on injured reserve, rookie cornerback Jaycee Horn was back among his teammates Wednesday. He was wearing a red jersey, as he continues to rehab the broken foot he suffered in Week 3 at Houston. Getting back in a game remains unlikely, as the timetable has always been late December/early January for a potential return (at the soonest). But seeing him out of a boot and walking among his teammates was still a positive sign for the first-round pick.
