Panthers assign jersey numbers

CHARLOTTE — The sprint of free agency and the NFL draft is finally winding down, and the Carolina Panthers have a few players wearing new numbers.

Safety Tre'von Moehrig took No. 23 when he first arrived in free agency back in March, the number he had at the beginning of his NFL career. Now, he is returning to the single-digit look he had during the back half of his Raiders career and will be No. 7 this season.

Linebacker Trevin Wallace, who wore 56 last season, is returning to the number he had in college at Kentucky, No. 32. Receiver Hunter Renfrow, who joined the Panthers after taking a year away from football to focus on his health, has grabbed the number that was always his, No. 13.

The Carolina Panthers take part in Voluntary Workouts on Tuesday, May. 6, 2025 in Charlotte, NC.

The free agent class has also been assigned their jersey numbers for the 2025 season. The 2025 rookie and UDFA classes were given their numbers at rookie minicamp.
