CHARLOTTE — The sprint of free agency and the NFL draft is finally winding down, and the Carolina Panthers have a few players wearing new numbers.
Safety Tre'von Moehrig took No. 23 when he first arrived in free agency back in March, the number he had at the beginning of his NFL career. Now, he is returning to the single-digit look he had during the back half of his Raiders career and will be No. 7 this season.
Linebacker Trevin Wallace, who wore 56 last season, is returning to the number he had in college at Kentucky, No. 32. Receiver Hunter Renfrow, who joined the Panthers after taking a year away from football to focus on his health, has grabbed the number that was always his, No. 13.

The free agent class has also been assigned their jersey numbers for the 2025 season. The 2025 rookie and UDFA classes were given their numbers at rookie minicamp.

Numbers can still change up until the beginning of the regular season. Tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders changed his jersey number last season, a week before the 2024 season kicked off.
