Panthers to make uniform grants

When it comes to looking sharp on the field, 18 fortunate high school football programs will have a leg up thanks to pants donated by the Carolina Panthers.

The team's high school uniform grant program will award 18 uniform grants to assist high school athletic programs in North and South Carolina as part of the team's ongoing effort to support football at the grassroots level.

The packages consist of white, black and silver game pants and white practice pants used by the Panthers. Valued at $150,000, the pants by Nike have been expertly maintained and are in excellent condition.

All high schools in North and South Carolina are eligible to apply. Download a uniform grant application. The deadline to apply is March 6, 2015.
