Snap Counts: Panthers vs. Jaguars

Christian McCaffrey missed nine offensive snaps, his most of the season, as he was dealing with cramps in the fourth quarter. Reggie Bonnafon played a career-high 11 snaps in McCaffrey's stead, running for a career-high 80 yards including a 59-yard touchdown run. A week after playing 97 percent of the snaps, Greg Olsen missed just one snap. Tight end Ian Thomas played 12 snaps. Olsen was targeted twice with no receptions, while Thomas didn't get any targets. Only three wide receivers saw snaps as DJ Moore (97 percent), Curtis Samuel (91 percent) and Jarius Wright (77%) saw all the snaps at receiver. Recently signed lineman Bryan Witzmann saw five snaps in jumbo packages.Ross Cockrell played all but one snap as he started for the injured Donte Jackson for the second-straight week. Javien Elliott played in 56 snaps, a week after playing 42 snaps, as Carolina utilized nickel packages. Vernon Butler played a season-high 31 snaps, more than Kyle Love (27 snaps) at defensive tackle. Brian Burns only played 37 snaps but recorded a fumble recovery for a touchdown and a strip sack.
