NEW ORLEANS -- Devin Funchess won't be suiting up for what could be his final game with the Panthers.
The fourth-year wideout is among Carolina's inactives for the season finale against the Saints. Funchess is a healthy scratch, as he was not listed on this week's injury report.
Funchess, a former second-round pick, has posted 44 catches for 549 yards and four touchdowns in 2018, which is the final year on his rookie deal. He briefly spoke about his contract situation earlier in the week.
Quarterback Cam Newton, guard Trai Turner and defensive tackle Kawann Short were ruled out on Friday.
