CHARLOTTE — The Panthers are going old school in the end zones, with a new look on the field this week.
The Panthers are going all black this weekend — helmets, jerseys, pants, and socks — for the big game against the Buccaneers.

They've worn the combination three times in the past.
The first two times they wore all black were against the Falcons, a pair of wins in 2022 and 2023. Last year, they wore it in the near-miss against the Chiefs, a 30-27 loss to the then-defending Super Bowl champions.

Bryce Young threw for 263 yards and a touchdown that day, and Chuba Hubbard scored a touchdown and a two-point conversion in the final two minutes before Patrick Mahomes did Patrick Mahomes things.
Coupled with the throwback end zones and logo on the Bank of America Stadium field, it'll be a dramatic setting for a game with playoff implications.
The Panthers can't clinch a playoff berth, but a win over the Bucs will be a big step toward going to the playoffs for the first time since 2017.
Adjust your wardrobes for the weekend accordingly.
