CHARLOTTE – Further examination revealed that cornerback James Bradberry fractured his left wrist during Monday's OTA practice, but there's hope he could still participate in next week's minicamp.

"He fractured the left radius," head athletic trainer Ryan Vermillion said. "We took him over to Dr. Pat Connor, and he'll be in a cast for six weeks."

The cast makes it possible for Bradberry to practice. As for his minicamp availability, that will be determined by Dr. Connor.

Bradberry stayed on the ground in pain after diving for an errant pass near the sideline. His wrist was examined and taped by Vermillion before he was carted to the locker room in good spirits.

Bradberry is expected to return with no limitations for training camp.
