In the Carolina Panthers final training camp practice, Dave Canales doubled the length of the last period, keeping starters on the field to capitalize on physicality and build a strong foundation.

The entire offense sprinted from one side of the field to the other and back in response to a pre-snap penalty. And then they moved on, a sign of what Dave Canales wants to see.

The former Panthers quarterback and league MVP won a Heisman and led Auburn to a national championship in 2010, before he was the first overall pick here.

The veteran running back knows how to find a hole and avoid an immovable wall, as highlighted in the back-to-back plays of the day during the Panthers' Tuesday practice.

The Panthers' quarterback has two days of practice in Carolina, and a chance on Thursday night to show the entire NFL— the Panthers included — what he learned in his MVP season in the UFL. 

The veteran defensive tackle isn't used to coming off the field at all. So now that he's back on it, he wants to continue to build so he's back to his normal workloads.

The injury report was a long one Monday, as the Panthers were missing several players with new issues, but they also got a few key guys back.

The Panthers switched things up (for one singular play in warm-ups) to keep training camp fresh and make sure the offense is ready for any situation. Literally, any situation. 

The rookie outside linebacker was working on the side Monday, but him running was a welcome sight after he was hospitalized in Houston with a collapsed lung.

The team also placed tight end Tyler Mabry on injured reserve to make room for Perkins on the 90-man roster.
