CHARLOTTE — As promised, the Panthers have three quarterbacks on the roster again.

The team signed veteran passer Mike White to the practice squad on Tuesday.

He was on the practice squad for a week and on the active roster two weeks ago when he was the emergency third quarterback in Green Bay. He was released Saturday when practice squad defensive end Jared Harrison-Hunte was signed to the 53.

The 30-year-old White has appeared in 15 games in the league, with seven starts, all with the Jets. He's also spent time with the Dolphins and Bills
