Panthers extend kicker Joey Slye through 2021

The team elevated cornerback David Long Jr. and linebacker Jacoby Windmon for the regular season finale at Tampa on Saturday.

They claimed former Seahawks safety D'Anthony Bell off waivers, and placed tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders on injured reserve to create the spot.

The team signed veteran Ross Dwelley to add depth, after the season-ending injury- to Ja'Tavion Sanders last weeek. 

Wallace had season-ending shoulder surgery this week, so they added the former Clemson linebacker to the active roster to fill his spot.

The team brought back cornerback Mike Reid on Tuesday, to refill the practice squad after the Cardinals signed cornerback Kalen King off the practice squad to their 53-man roster.

The team added linebacker Isaiah Simmons and guard Saahdiq Charles by standard elevation for Week 16.

The team signed Jamil Muhammad to the practice squad, after yet another of their players was signed off the practice squad by another team.

The team started the 21-day clock for Moore to potentially return from injured reserve, meaning he can practice today. 

The team brought linebacker Isaiah Simmons up from the practice squad this week, and added defensive tackle Tershawn Wharton to the injury report.

The cornerback played in last week's win over the Rams, his first game after being promoted from the practice squad.

After Moehrig served his one-game suspension last week, the team waived cornerback Kalen King to make room for him on the active roster.

The Panthers put the guard on IR for the second time this season, this one because of a calf injury. Plus other moves in advance of the game with the Rams on Sunday.
