Pickin' It: Panthers vs. Jaguars

As far as the experts are concerned, this is the first real toss up of Carolina's season.

The consensus picks ended up with the Panthers for the most part, but it was a lot closer than it looks. As you can see, the folks over at Sports Illustrated were split, with four choosing the Panthers and four choosing the Jaguars.

Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com continues to be intrigued by Carolina. He once again called the Panthers' matchup his "sneaky good game of the week," a game he has the home team winning 23-19.

Panthers fans would like to see it turn out that way.
