CHARLOTTE -- Make it two exclusive rights free agents signed in two days.

After inking running back Reggie Bonnafon to a one-year deal on Tuesday, the Panthers signed defensive back Cole Luke to a one-year extension Wednesday.

Luke played in eight games last season after being elevated from the practice squad, tallying two tackles. He spent the entire 2018 season on Carolina's practice squad. He spent almost all of his rookie season in 2017 on injured reserve with an ankle injury.

The Notre Dame product was originally acquired as an undrafted free agent in 2017.
