CHARLOTTE — The Panthers are bringing out the black-on-back in their first home playoff game in a decade.

For Saturday's playoff game against the Rams, the first in Bank of America Stadium since 2015, they're wearing one of their newer combinations.

The Panthers are going with the black jerseys and black pants this week, along with the standard silver helmet.

This is the same combination they wore last December against the Cardinals, for the 36-30 overtime win.

Chuba Hubbard won that one with a 21-yard touchdown in overtime. Bryce Young threw touchdown passes that afternoon, and also ran five times for 68 yards and a touchdown, as the Panthers finished one after some late-season near-misses against the Chiefs, Buccaneers, and Eagles.

It's also a favorite of a lot of franchise legends, many of whom will be in a packed house Saturday afternoon.

Show up early so you don't miss it, and adjust your wardrobes for the weekend accordingly.
