NEW ORLEANS - Quarterback Cam Newton and running back Jonathan Stewart are both active and ready to return to the starting lineup.
Newton was in the concussion protocol for last week's game, while Stewart has missed three consecutive games with a hamstring injury. The Panthers were comfortable enough with Stewart's health to make Cameron Artis-Payne inactive.
Defensive lineman Wes Horton and cornerback Lou Young, added to the 53-man roster this week, are both active with injuries hampering the defensive tackle and cornerback groups. Panthers inactives:
