Mock Draft Report 10

New names continue to pop up in the Mock Draft Report as we close in on draft day.

This week, Missouri defensive end Charles Harris and Connecticut safety Obi Melifonwu make an appearance for the first time as possible Panthers targets with the eighth overall pick.

Harris is an intriguing edge rusher coming off a year in which he posted 63 tackles and eight sacks. But most analysts view him as a late first, early second-round selection.

The same draft range (late first, early second) has been applied to Melifonwu, but his stock has been on the rise ever since his amazing display at the NFL Scouting Combine. Melifonwu is an ultra-athletic prospect with tremendous size at 6-4 and 224 pounds. His eye-popping athletic profile could very well tempt a team in Round One.

Some of the usual suspects – defensive end Derek Barnett, running back Leonard Fournette, defensive end Jonathan Allen and tight end O.J. Howard – round out this week's report.
