Panthers honor youth coaches

!

CHARLOTTE - Nine coaches who were singled out during the 2010 season as a Carolina Panthers Youth Football Coach of the Week will be honored at a preseason game next season.

The coaches, from North and South Carolina, were selected for excelling on the field and in their community, and for giving tirelessly of themselves for the betterment of their local area, their teams, and their players.

"The impact made by these coaches goes well beyond the playing field," said Riley Fields, Carolina Panthers director of community relations.

In addition to being recognized prior to a 2011 preseason game at Bank of America Stadium, the coaches will receive a framed certificate, complimentary tickets, field passes and Carolina Panthers memorabilia.
