CHARLOTTE — The Panthers have released their depth chart ahead of the Week 18 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The depth chart featured a couple of changes from Week 17 following a signing and a starter going to injured reserve.
The Panthers placed linebacker Trevin Wallace on IR last Saturday. With the move, Claudin Cherelus, who started in Wallace's place against the Seahawks, and Krys Barnes both move up on the depth chart.
The corresponding move when Wallace went on IR was to sign Isaiah Simmons to the active roster. The versatile Simmons was originally listed as a linebacker, but his position has been clarified as safety. He will slot in behind Tre'von Moehrig on the depth chart.
The Panthers added tight end Ross Dwelley to the practice squad on Tuesday, following the season-ending ankle injury to Ja'Tavion Sanders. As of now, no official roster moves have been made with Sanders, although one will presumably come at some point this week.
