SPARTANBURG, S.C. – After waiving safety Travell Dixon with an injury designation, the Panthers signed tight end Bryce Williams.

Williams, 6-5 and 260 pounds, played collegiately at East Carolina and went undrafted in 2016. He signed with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent and later spent time on the Rams' practice squad during the season.

Williams spent time with the Seahawks earlier this offseason but was waived in June.
