Rookie Minicamp Roster Set

CHARLOTTE – The Panthers will have 35 tryout players joining their draft picks, undrafted signings and a handful of returning players at rookie minicamp, which begins Friday at Bank of America Stadium.

Defensive tackle Vernon Butler (first round, 30th overall), cornerback James Bradberry (second round, 62nd overall), cornerback Darly Worley (third round, 77th overall), cornerback Zack Sanchez (fifth round, 141st overall) and tight end Beau Sandland (seventh round, 252nd overall) will make their debuts in Panthers gear.

So too will the seven college free agents, a list that includes linebacker Jeremy Cash, wide receiver Keyarris Garrett, tight end Andrew Bonnet, fullback Devon Johnson, tight end Jake McGee, linebacker Jared Norris and wide receiver Jenson Stoshak.

Four players who spent time on Carolina's practice squad in 2015 – defensive tackle Chas Alecxih, wide receiver Damiere Byrd, defensive end Rakim Cox and guard Reese Dismukes – will also participate, as will four others signed to future contracts in January (defensive tackle Eric Crume, cornerback Travell Dixon, wide receiver Cobi Hamilton and guard Tyler Larsen).

Below is a complete list of the tryout players. Last year, Carolina signed five invited tryouts to the roster. The Panthers currently have five open spots on their 90-man roster.
