CHARLOTTE â The Panthers got a few needed parts back on the practice field Thursday.
Wide receiver ï»żRobby Andersonï»ż (groin), right guard ï»żJohn Millerï»ż (shoulder), and cornerback ï»żTroy Pride Jr.ï»ż (hip) were back as they prepare for the regular season finale against the Saints.
Pride was listed as limited, but Anderson and Miller were full participants, along with fullback ï»żAlex Armahï»ż (thigh), who was limited Wednesday.
The Panthers were still without running backs ï»żChristian McCaffreyï»ż (thigh) and ï»żMike Davisï»ż (ankle), defensive end ï»żBrian Burnsï»ż (shoulder), and tackle ï»żRussell Okungï»ż (calf).
Head coach Matt Rhule said Wednesday that neither the running backs nor Okung are expected to play.
Getting Armah back will help, and Rhule said that between the veteran fullback, wide receiver ï»żCurtis Samuelï»ż, and young running backs ï»żRodney Smithï»ż and ï»żTrenton Cannonï»ż, they'd split the backfield load that Davis carried most of the year.
