CHARLOTTE — The Panthers now know the date and time for the regular season finale.
The league announced that the Week 18 game against the Falcons will be played on Sunday, Jan. 5, at 1 p.m.
The game will be broadcast by CBS.
The Falcons (8-8) can still make the playoffs with a win and a loss by the Buccaneers (9-7) against the Saints. Atlanta has the head-to-head tiebreaker based on sweeping Tampa Bay this season.
