CHARLOTTE – The Panthers will have 28 tryout players joining their draft picks, undrafted additions and a handful of returning players and offseason signings at rookie minicamp, which begins Friday at Bank of America Stadium.

Wide receiver DJ Moore (first round, 24th overall), cornerback Donte Jackson (second round, 55th), safety Rashaan Gaulden (third round, 85th), tight end Ian Thomas (fourth round, 101st), defensive end Marquis Haynes (fourth round, 136th), linebacker Jermaine Carter (fifth round, 161st), linebacker Andre Smith (seventh round, 234th) and defensive tackle Kendrick Norton (seventh round, 242nd) will make their debuts in Panthers gear. So too will seven college free agents.

Six players who spent time on Carolina's 2017 practice squad -- tight end Evan Baylis, linebacker Zeek Bigger, linebacker Richie Brown, wideout Austin Duke, defensive end Efe Obada and safety Damian Parms  -- will participate, as well as three others who were signed this offseason -- running back Elijah Hood, guard Dorian Johnson and offensive tackle Korren Kirven.

Below is a complete list of the tryout players. Last year, Carolina signed three invited tryouts to the roster. The Panthers currently have four open spots on their 91-man roster (Carolina has 91 spots due to Obada's international player exemption).
