Audibles: Jordan Gross with Amini Silatolu

The play of offensive linemen often goes unnoticed, unless a flag flies for a holding penalty that negates a big play.

Rookie left guard Amini Silatolu's recent play has been worthy of notice, and perhaps some fans did notice that he was out front on each of running back DeAngelo Williams' touchdown receptions off screen passes the last two games.

No one, however, appreciates the efforts of an offensive lineman quite like a fellow offensive lineman – especially one that shares the huddle.

Panthers left tackle Jordan Gross has seen Silatolu's steady growth up close all season. Prior to last week's victory at the San Diego Chargers, Gross sat down with the soft-spoken Silatolu for an interview that no reporter likely could pull off.
