CHARLOTTE — Panthers head coach Dave Canales said that quarterback Bryce Young was "day-to-day" after suffering a right ankle injury in Sunday's win in New York, but declined more specifics.

He also didn't speculate as to his availability for Sunday's game here against the Bills, and said they want to push him this week to see what he could do.

Young has only missed one game in his career because of injury, in Week 3 of his rookie season (2023) at Seattle, when Andy Dalton stepped in to start.

The 39-year-old Dalton is 84-82-2 in his career as a starter.
