Comments from Carolina Panthers head coach John Fox following the team's practice.

Opening comments: We released defensive tackle Lonnie Harvey and traded for defensive tackle Louis Leonard. Injury-wise, really nothing new, but we did have Charles Godfrey out there practicing on a limited basis, so he was an upgrade (from Monday). Otherwise it was the same as yesterday.

On if one more roster move must be made to reach the 75-man limit: Yeah, by four o'clock today, and we have not made it yet.

On defensive tackle Louis Leonard: He was a guy that we liked a little bit coming out. This will be his third year in the league. He's played with Cleveland and St. Louis. He was a guy that we had interest in.

On what Leonard brings to the team: He's a 325-pound defensive tackle that's young and, hopefully, he helps us.

On the resignations of Panthers stadium president Jon Richardson and team president Mark Richardson: I enjoyed working with both of them. One thing I can say is that I have the utmost confidence in (Owner/Founder) Mr. (Jerry) Richardson doing what's best for this organization.

On if running back Jonathan Stewart got a second opinion on his Achilles tendon: We don't get into all that, but he was at practice today.

On if Stewart is any closer to returning to the field: Day-to-day.
