TAMPA, Fla. â The Panthers will be without veteran defensive tackle Tershawn Wharton for the fourth week in a row.
Wharton returned to practice this week and was questionable with a hamstring injury, but was on the inactive list Saturday afternoon.
Wharton hasn't played since the Rams game on Nov. 30. He'll be replaced in the starting lineup by Bobby Brown III.
Also inactive for the Panthers are wide receiver Hunter Renfrow, cornerback Robert Rochell, safeties Demani Richardson and D'Anthony Bell, linebacker Claudin Cherelus, and defensive tackle Jared Harrison-Hunte.
They activated cornerback David Long Jr. and linebacker Jacoby Windmon from the practice squad for depth purposes for the finale, to cover for the absences of Rochell and Cherelus.
