PANTHERS TRENDING UP: The Panthers have now cracked the top 10 of almost everyone's power rankings, and as one of seven remaining unbeaten teams, that's the way it should be. Carolina is only in the top seven in one case however, coming in at No. 7 in Pete Prisco's ranking for CBSSports.com. They're still outside the top 10 in Frank Schwab's list on **Yahoo.com at No. 11** but were his biggest mover of the week, up eight spots.

PANTHERS CRACK TOP 10 IN ESPN, NFL, PFF RANKINGS:Carolina moved up four sports to No.10 in NFL.com's weekly power rankings and five spots to No.9 on ESPN's list, both highlight strong play from quarterback Cam Newton. Pro Football Focus also has the Panthers at no.10 and includes a note about the strong cornerback play. READ
