CHARLOTTE — The Panthers signed a couple of players off AFC North practice squads to fill their two available roster spots.
They added former Bengals linebacker Maema Njongmeta and Ravens center Nick Samac.
Njongmeta, originally an undrafted rookie from Wisconsin, played in 17 games for the Bengals last year, primarily on special teams.
Samac was a seventh-round pick in 2024 out of Michigan State, where he was a three-time Academic All-Big 10. He didn't appear in any games last year and was waived in cuts to the 53 this year.
They filled the spots of Robert Hunt and Austin Corbett, who went on IR with injuries sustained in Sunday's loss at Arizona.
