CHARLOTTE — The Panthers made a number of additions to the roster Saturday, as they restock for the finale at Tampa Bay.
The Panthers signed practice squad tight end Stephen Sullivan to the active roster.
They were short at the position anyway, and they think Sullivan has potential as a pass-catcher. The LSU product has been elevated to the game-day roster each of the last two weeks.
The Panthers also activated running back Reggie Bonnafon and wide receiver C.J. Saunders (standard elevations), and cornerback Madre Harper, defensive tackle Frank Herron, and wide receiver Keith Kirkwood (COVID-19 elevations).
The Panthers also added kicker Dominik Eberle back to the practice squad in case of emergency, and released cornerback Jalen Julius from the practice squad.
