Panthers-Jagauars to resume after hour-plus delay

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Panthers and Jaguars are going to resume their game at 3:10 p.m., after a delay of more than an hour.

The game was paused at 1:54 p.m., with lightning near the EverBank Stadium area.

It only rained briefly, but teams stayed in the locker rooms.

At 2:53 p.m., fans were instructed to return to their seats, and players began to come out and warm up.

The Panthers will get the ball first after the extended break, trailing 10-3 with 8:32 left on the clock.
