Snap Counts: Panthers at Falcons

A look at some of the key stats from the game, as well as the snap counts from Sunday's win over the Jets in Week 7

With their sixth starting lineup in seven games, the Panthers did the job up front again, with a bunch of people who know each other well.

The Panthers put together the kind of collective defensive performance they've been building toward, with two of their leaders making impact plays throughout.

With a "home call" they'd worked on all week, Tre'von Moehrig blitzes to the backfield to sack Justin Fields for the Panthers Play of the Day. 

After teasing it all week, the Panthers ran a two running-back system against the Jets, equally using Chuba Hubbard and Rico Dowdle. While the Jets put in major effort to shut down the run game, the Panthers were still pleased with the results. 

Teammates said they were hoping for the best, but a complementary win over the Jets for their first road victory of the year. Young left in the third quarter and did not return.

Bryce Young left the game in the third quarter with an ankle injury and did not return, but the Panthers held on to improve to 4-3.

Andy Dalton entered the game in his place, after the Panthers starter walked to the locker room with team medical personnel.

The veteran defensive tackle is back in the lineup after missing the previous two games with a toe issue. But Damien Lewis was not able to go today, meaning Austin Corbett is expected to start at left guard.

The Panthers' receiver brought in his first touchdown of the season on Sunday. Then he scored another one. It was perfect timing for the rookie on a special day for he and his grandpa. 

The Panthers stopped the league's top offense when it mattered most, and allowed just 31 yards on the ground, making the Cowboys one-dimensional.
