The Panthers turned over a lot of personnel this offseason, which means they're still learning what they'll look like on defense this year. But the changes might not stop with the people involved.

Bryce Young has a new offense, under a new staff, but he's also learning new receivers, like Diontae Johnson. It's a chemistry that will take a while to build, thanks to the unique way Johnson moves. 

The team signed former Buccaneers receiver and return man Deven Thompkins on Thursday, adding another player with familiarity with Dave Canales and his offensive staff.

Tuesday seemed like a normal day for Panthers quarterback Bryce Young. But those in the building know, it's a return from a promising offseason and what he hopes is the start of something exciting. 

Cornerback Chau Smith-Wade and wide receiver Jalen Coker were activated Tuesday afternoon, in advance of the first day of practice on Wednesday.
