CHARLOTTE — Five players were missing from practice Wednesday, but they did get some good news on defense.
Starting linebacker Trevin Wallace (shoulder) returned to practice as a full participant.
He missed the last two games because of the injury.
Fellow linebacker Christian Rozeboom (hip/hamstring) remained out, one of the five players who didn't take part in Wednesday's shorter practice heading into Sunday's game against the Rams. Since it was technically a walk-through, participation levels are estimations.
Also out were center Cade Mays (ankle), guard Chandler Zavala (calf), cornerback Jaycee Horn (concussion), and linebacker Claudin Cherelus (concussion).
Mays missed Sunday's game, but the other three were injured during the game at San Francisco. Horn and Cherelus will have to be cleared by an independent neurologist.
