Week 2 Friday Injury Report: Ikem Ekwonu questionable for Cardinals game

CHARLOTTE — Panthers left tackle Ikem Ekwonu (illness) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Arizona.

He was listed as a limited participant in Friday's practice, as he comes back from his recent appendectomy.

"It was great," Panthers head coach Dave Canales said of Ekwonu's energy level. "We just ramped him up every day and got him a few more reps each time, he finished off a great practice today, but again we have to just kind of still take this thing a day at a time to see how he wakes up tomorrow after accumulating a couple of days of work."

Ekwonu missed last week's game against the Jaguars.

Veteran defensive tackle Tershawn Wharton (hamstring) was the only player held out of Friday's practice, as expected. He's ruled out this week.

Otherwise, everyone else on the report was a full participant and had no injury status, meaning they're good to go Sunday.

That includes outside linebacker Patrick Jones II (ankle), wide receiver Hunter Renfrow (ribs), guards Robert Hunt (foot) and Damien Lewis (shoulder/ankle), defensive end A'Shawn Robinson (groin), and cornerback Akayleb Evans (illness).
