CHARLOTTE -- A chance to play kickball with Cam Newton and other celebrities and sports stars is appealing no matter where it's taking place.
But there's an exciting new twist this year, as Newton's fifth annual "Kicking It With Cam!" kickball tournament will take place at Bank of America Stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers. The event, which is open to the general public, is set for Friday, May 10.
Tickets are on sale now for the general admission event.
"We're excited to partner with Bank of America Stadium to bring Kicking It with Cam! to the stadium for the very first time. This is one of our largest fundraisers of the year, and we can't think of a better venue to host such a fun and unique event that will benefit many people in need throughout the Carolinas," said Kimberly Beal, director of the Cam Newton Foundation. "Having the opportunity to play kickball, socialize on the game field, or just watch celebrities from various aspects of sports and entertainment is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
The tournament benefits the Cam Newton Foundation, which focuses on local and deserving youth in the areas of education, diversity and inclusion, and wellness.
