CHARLOTTE — You're about to go behind the scenes on a draft process unlike any other.
The world might have thought they were leaning one way, but the Panthers were locked in on Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, and we're about to take you inside this process to see how convinced they were.
From his scouting combine interview, to the nerves inside the room on draft day before they got their guy, we have it covered from start to finish.
This year's edition of Panthers Blueprint, presented by Coca-Cola ®, will debut Monday at 6 p.m. on the team's Youtube channel and Panthers.com.
As an extension of the series, Blueprint offers rare behind-the-scenes footage, as head coach Dave Canales and general manager Dan Morgan were generous enough to allow our cameras to document the process of adding a big target for the offense while filling some defensive needs as well.
And as you'll see from their first introduction to McMillan in Indianapolis, there was an immediate connection. That extended to his quarterback, as you see him greeted in his new home by Bryce Young, a former high school rival in Southern California who will now be throwing passes his way.
And you'll see and hear about his arrival in a way you can't see anywhere else.
