CHARLOTTE — The Panthers were struggling with numbers at certain spots in practice, as the illness that has hit a number of players continues to roll through the locker room.
Outside linebacker Cam Gill, left guard Damien Lewis, and nickel Chau Smith-Wade were all out of practice Thursday with illness designations.
Also missing Thursday's practice were Jaycee Horn (hip), Josey Jewell (neck, head, quadriceps), Taylor Moton (knee), and Jadeveon Clowney (knee/elbow).
Three other players were added to the report Thursday and listed as limited participants: Adam Thielen (hamstring), Tommy Tremble (shoulder/back), and Amaré Barno (knee).
Quarterback Bryce Young (hamstring) was listed as a full participant again Thursday, along with Ikem Ekwonu (shoulder) and Cade Mays (illness).

Carolina is 12-9 at home against Tampa Bay all-time. The Buccaneers have won the last two games in Charlotte, including a 43-26 decision last year.
