CHARLOTTE — The Panthers got defensive tackle Tershawn Wharton back on the field Tuesday.

Wharton (hamstring) has missed the last three weeks with a hamstring injury.

The Panthers are thin, however, at linebacker. Claudin Cherelus (calf/ankle) and Krys Barnes (back) were held out of practice on Tuesday. They placed Trevin Wallace on injured reserve last week.

Running back Rico Dowdle (toe) was also held out of Tuesday's walk-through, along with Ja'Tavion Sanders (fibula) and Robert Rochell (concussion).

Robert Hunt (biceps) and David Moore (elbow) were full participants.
