CHARLOTTE — The Panthers are adding a veteran presence back to the receiver room this week.
They opened the 21-day practice window for wideout David Moore.
He's been on injured reserve since suffering an elbow injury on the first play of the game at New England in Week 4.
Moore caught 32 passes for 351 yards and three touchdowns last season, and has made plays late in seasons for Dave Canales many times in the past, including stints with Seattle and Tampa Bay.

Also on Wednesday, they refilled the practice squad by signing running back Montrell Johnson.
He played at Florida with Panthers running back/returner Trevor Etienne. He began his career at Louisiana-Lafayette, but in his final three seasons with the Gators, he ran for 2,251 yards and 21 touchdowns.
Johnson was undrafted this year and has spent time with the Cardinals and Eagles.
He replaces Deejay Dallas on the practice squad. The Jaguars signed Dallas to their active roster on Tuesday.
