CHARLOTTE — The Panthers have ruled four players out for Sunday's game against the Patriots, including both starting outside linebackers.
Patrick Jones II (hamstring) and D.J. Wonnum (hip) have been ruled out, along with tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle) and wide receiver Xavier Legette (hamstring). All four were held out of Friday's practice.
Otherwise, everyone else participated in some capacity on Friday.
Defensive tackle Tershawn Wharton (hamstring) was limited and is listed as questionable. He practiced on a limited basis Thursday for the first time since a Week 1 injury.
Rookie wideout Tetairoa McMillan (calf) and running back Chuba Hubbard (calf) were also limited and listed as questionable.
