CHARLOTTE â After a dynamic rookie season, receiver Tetairoa McMillan has been named a finalist for the fan-vote Rookie of the Year award, the league announced Tuesday. This is not the AP award presented at NFL Honors; those finalists will be announced at a later date. This is a sponsored fan-vote.
McMillan finished his rookie debut 14th in the league overall with 1,014 yards, which led all rookie pass-catchers. He also led all rookies with seven touchdowns, and rookie receivers with 70 receptions.

"I think we definitely envisioned what we got, otherwise, I don't think we would have drafted him at No. 8," bragged general manager Dan Morgan on Tuesday of the Top 10 pick.
"So, he's done a great job. Just another guy that comes in, he works, attention to detail, and it shows out on the field on Sundays."
McMillan won the Rookie of the Week award back in Week 6, after scoring his first two touchdowns of his rookie year in the Panthers win over the Dallas Cowboys. He is also currently one of the favorites to be nominated for the NFL Associated Press offensive rookie of the year award.
Fans can vote for McMillan here, starting now.
