CHARLOTTE — The word is getting around about the Carolina Panthers, at least in terms of Pro Bowl voting.
The NFL released the second installment of fan voting results Monday afternoon, and cornerback Jaycee Horn remains the top vote-getter at his position.
The big difference is that he has a lot more familiar faces around him this week.
A week ago, safety Tre'von Moehrig and running back Rico Dowdle were seventh at their respective positions, and that was the extent of the Panthers' representation. They remain there this week, and they have company.

This week, Derrick Brown is (rightfully) back in the top 10 at defensive tackle, sixth in fan voting at his position. Brown was not in the top 10 in fan voting in 2023 when he went for the first time (coaches and player votes each count a third of the total).
Brown was also just named the team's recipient of the Ed Block Courage Award, in honor of his impressive comeback from last year's knee injury.

Also, rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan is up to sixth at wide receiver, trailing just Jaxon Smith-Njigba, George Pickens, Puka Nacua, Ja'Marr Chase, and Amon-Ra St. Brown.
McMillan leads all rookies in receptions and receiving yards, with 57 catches for 826 and six touchdowns.

And last but certainly not least, veteran long snapper JJ Jansen is 10th in fan voting at long snapper.
Jansen, who owns the Panthers' all-time record for games played with 273, will break that record again this weekend. He's 27th on the league's all-time list.
He went to his only Pro Bowl in 2013, though he has been deserving for many more years since.
